Really enjoyed watching that video @Stiles/Akin . I'm always so fascinated at the thinking behind some of these actions.

The remains with regard to the cannon was a shock, but the respect paid all these years later was moving to see.

Besides the Alabama's broadside gun in the Mobile City Museum, his house on Government Street is still there. I was privileged to see one of the Alabama's guns being conserved at the same place where the Hunley is being conserved.
