Confederate Executive Branch Organization

Does anyone know of a study of the organization of the Executive Branch of the Confederate Government? I have Goff's Confederate Supply and he provides a lot of information as it relates to supplying the armies, but I am looking for a work focused on the organization itself. I guess I'm looking for a detailed org chart, with explanations as to why things were as they were and how they changed over time.
