Confederate Ersatz

I liked the raccoon skin shoes, the candles and the soaps. I believe people on the frontier probably used some of these items in times before the war. Poor people existed long before the war.
 
Two pair of wooden sole shoes, the first pair came from a Union soldier's collection, of items picked up during the fall Richmond, the other were purportedly worn by a Confederate soldier (iron rails on soles)
