Communications at Fort Sumter

In different conversations here on the board, I have mentioned a quite a few times of the very polite and respectful communications of the South trying to get the North to peacefully leave Fort Sumter. Along with the patience they had in waiting for it to be accomplished. I was really impressed by this when I first read them a few years ago and up till tonight, I have been just going by memory.

It took a little while, but I was able to locate them again tonight. Not sure if this is the original site that I read them at, but if not, it is a good duplicate:

Wish I could.

I have no reason to believe it to be fake. But I welcome any proof of it.

Also, I won't mention any name, but a pro-Union member on here once agreed with me on it.

He stated that he was familiar with it, as I was.
