Thanks.I cant get enough of then n now photography.Of course,it started somewhat with Frassanito ,years ago,But I just find it fascinatining,especially more out of the way,less recorded places.
 
Do they allow you to go inside now? I saw it briefly when I was up that way in April but didn't get an opportunity to stop.
 
You,know,i didnt even try to.It seems as if its open,but I wasnt really that interested in going in.
 
The building has changed so much that it almost don't even look the same. Different number of windows on the side and front, porch, addition...etc.

Oh.I agree,there are a lot of modifications to it,for sure,but,still in all,It was acool place to stop,and I didnt have too much trouble imagining Joe Wheelers boys splashing across the creek near hear.

Indeed. I love going to those old places and thinking......what it would have looked like then....the sounds, the smells.....Very interesting stuff.
 
Truthfully,gazing east across the creek,its not hard to imagine a lot of confederate activity.The area is still very rural
