Cavalry hat cord?

Hello,
I think this may be a faded gold/yellow ACW cavalry hat cord but I'd appreciate more opinions. I think the ACW blue infantry hat cords can fade to a more white or grey color. Thanks for looking!

I do not believe this was ever blue.

I agree. I've compared this one to others that have been sold by The Horse Soldier and other online dealers and it looks like a faded yellow or gold cavalry hat cord.
