Cannon 22”

Hi CWT,
I am looking to identify a cannon I recently acquired.
22" long
NYC foundry
664 stamped on flat breech
2.450" bore (2.25"?)
No muzzle swell or decorative bands
Square rear should indicate elevation mount.
I bought it site, unseen, hoping it is worth some thing. Many thanks for any help.

Honestly I don't know what it is, but it does look like a Woodruff Gun knockoff. The basic shape looks the same, but most of the other details are a bit off.

Thanks Dan. I have the NY foundry/museum researching it. The seller swears its a Navy piece but it looks so unrefined like you said.
