Can I have some help with this problem

I wonder if a Confederate reenactor could wear the dark blue trousers officers wear for reenactments in 1864 time frame. I saw one at an SC reenactment.

What about a 47 yea rold man here in San Antonio, TX who would like to know if there are any reenactor groups here in San Antonio? Interested in the infantry and Hood's Texas Brigade. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

@James S. , the Nineteenth Century Living History Association is the umbrella group that coordinates the Battle of Galveston reenactments most years. They seem to be a good bunch.
