Bullet size for a 1849 pocket pistol

I am going to buy a 1849 pocket pistol I was wondering what would be the best size round ball to use
it's a 31 cal.

I use #O pure lead buckshot which is .320 caliber with great results.

I shoot Dixie's .321 cast lead ball. You will like the pistol.
