Found this projectile. No rings I take it's very old though. It's longer than some if found before.

First guess is Enfield but the rings shouldn't be there. Size and weight would help. YMMV

I agree. As someone who casts lots of these old bullets, it appears to my eye this is a grooved hollow base bullet.
