Boiled Oatmeal Cookies

Here is old oatmeal cookie recipe requires no baking. It has been recreated and from cookbook my Mother had from VFW.

Boiled Oatmeal Cookies

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups quick cooking oats
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup nuts

Mix first 4 ingredients in pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Use a teaspoon and drop batter onto wax paper. Let cool and serve.
