Blockade Runner?

About 100' long... that'd be consistent with a schooner, so one of the smaller (sailing) blockade runners is a possibility. It could be a Union supply vessel, too.

Very cool.Been to Cumberland Island once and had a perfectly fantastic day with my sister, exploring the ruins, wrecks, and cemeteries, and walking the beaches there. You almost gotta hope its a Civil war wreck of some kind, hehe.
Makes one wonder what the inhabitants years ago did about this kind of thing.I mean it had to be above the sand for a time, right?Did people just take rotting hulks as a matter of course?Until the just sorta disappeared?
