Bayonet Identification

Hello all, I recently purchased this bayonet at an antique store that I was unfamiliar with apart from it being potentially civil war and was hoping to identify what it is/if it is real. Based on my research it looks like a Zouave bayonet however I am not 100% sure and any more information would be appreciated.

When I was looking it over in the store I really was not sure what to look for as far as markings/patina went as I am more familiar with WWI and later bayonets. I really don't know much about Civil War era equipment (I am located in Canada so it's rare to see it) so I took a chance on it for the price. The handle is marked throughout but does not resemble the makers/inspection marks I have seen on examples online since. The blade does not appear to be marked and the pin going through the blade and handle does not look as clean as the other examples online. The scabbard was convincingly old to me but I wasn't sure on the actual bayonet and .

Any help would be appreciated as far as identifying this bayonet.

Thank you!

I'm no expert, but my gut says no, this is not from the American Civil War. The handle is too fancy and the lower edge is serrated. I've not seen this in ACW-era weapons.
