This recipe is old Kentucky recipe my Granny made. It has my favorites, bacon and potatoes. A great soup for the Fall weather we now are starting to have.
Bacon and Potato Soup
One half pound bacon cooked and crumbled, one medium onion, chopped, four to six medium potatoes, diced, four boiled eggs, cubed, two cups of scalded milk, and salt and pepper.
Fry bacon until crisp, then crumble. Remove from pan. Pour off all but two tablespoons of bacon fat. Add potatoes and onions to the fat. Cover with water and cook until done. Add crumbled bacon, cubed eggs, scalded milk and seasonings.

The air is far crisper lately and this would be perfect!
