Autograph Value

I know, anything is worth what someone is willing to pay, however just wondering if anyone could venture a guess on a value of a signature of Union Colonel Strong Vincent? Many of the famous civil war soldiers autographs are out there and I've seen what they go for. Vincent's though seems rare, dying in 1863 don't help. War time may command more value, like having his rank written on it, plus boldness, legibility, etc.

Thanks for any thoughts or guesses!

You have to sign up to see the final price, but there was an offer of $1709 on this one:

Heritage tends to be a "high end" auction, and the prices they list as being realized also include their auction fees, so in reality the ticket price for the things they list are 25-30 percent less than what they list them as selling for. Similar items selling elsewhere generally sell for much less.
