What is this? Autograph Identification

Hello everyone,

I recently acquired a period autograph book containing northern officers, politicians, and some other notables. I was able to identify most of the signatures except these few.

Some are vague or contain only one name (first or last).

I was wondering if anyone here might recognize them!

#1 looks like "Mrs. Beecher" and could be Eunice Beecher, Harriet Beecher Stowe's mother and wife of Henry Ward Beecher. Signatures match.

#4 looks like "Maj Gen Davis" and would be "Major General Jefferson C. Davis" Signatures match.

#5 could be Col J B Hyman, CSA - Colonel Joseph Hyman, 13th NC infantry.

Thank you for the assistance! I can see the similarity in Eunice's handwriting, especially compared to the other Beechers.

I was wondering if you could share the Davis autograph that you compared it to. I would never have guessed because the examples I've seen of his usually have "J.C." in them.

And I will look into Hyman! Maybe I can find some handwriting samples of his somewhere.

Wow, incredible! How did you identify them? I appreciate your assistance very much, I almost gave up!
