For me there is nothing like yeast rolls.

Rolls

One quart of flour; lard the size of an egg; one teacup of yeast; a little salt; warm water enough to make dough; knead together at night; in the morning knead again and make into rolls and put in the pans, let stand until light; then bake.

These are so good with butter and honey.

Can you make this into a recipe with measures?

As Ami wrote you have to convert yourself. Look of meaning of the measurements given and convert. That is the fun of these old recipes.

My Granny never used measurements as she just knew. She was one of the best cooks in her area of Kentucky. I never knew anyone who didn't enjoy her cooking.

Sorry, but I want measured ingredients, Ami or no Ami.
