I need a Armisport 1861 Springfiled mainspring.

My mainspring just broke and I need one now. A couple of places online seems to be out of stock on that one. Where can I get one?

According to their websites both S&S and Lodgewood are out of it according to their websites. But I found a couple of other places that might have it in stock. I am calling in anyway before buying a part like that, and to make sure I get the right one. You also have Dixie Gun Works, The Rifle Shoppe for example. The Rifle Shoppe has it too and also a hardened version of it. The one I have that snapped in half seems to be made of some pore quality steel, I NEED to make sure I get a good quality one.

What is the ship time from Rifle Shoppe? I would go w/ them if it's a reasonable response time.

Where exactly did the spring break at?

I will post a picture.
S$S fireamrs say tghey should have it back in stock by the end of this week. And Lodgewood says on their answering machine that they will be back at their shop July 9. If I not get it before then I will call them.

Wouldn't think of it breaking THERE, figured it would break at the u bend section! Any Luck with finding a replacement?

Well, S&S firearms said that they should have it back in stock by the end of this week, so I will call them tomorrow. If I am unsuccessful there I will call Lodgewood on the 9th, when they said they would be back.
It worked perfect at my last event I attended, and when I got home I took the gun apart because I was going to do a thorough polish and cleaning of it. And when I started to pick up the parts to clean them I noticed the broken mainspring. I can not for the life of me figure out when It happened... Because like I mentioned It worked when I left my last event.
The lock could not have worked with it broken like that could it? Because It does not work now.
