Antietam Experience

A couple years ago my family and I were visiting Antietam battlefield, just around sunset. I was about 18 at the time. My little brother, my little sister, and I decide to play soldiers. I was the officer, and not long after I said..."Come on boys! Charge!" and we started running, I felt a very sharp pain near my lower center abdomen that dropped me to the ground screaming. I know was not a cramp, I have had them before and this felt completely different. The closest thing I can compare it too is getting hit hard with something. The pain faded moments later and I have not felt any lingering pain from it (When I get cramps, there is always a lingering pain). To this day I believe I was either shot or stabbed by a phantom bullet, bayonet, or sword. It is this event that turned me from a complete sceptic in the existence of ghosts to being split 50/50 on the topic. Another incident this intense would probably make me believe in ghosts 100%.

I had an experience near the Dunker Church at Antietam where a relatively new digital camera went suddenly dead. After a few minutes power was restored.
Couple of years ago, I was at Gettysburg with friends. A lady in our party would not use the public restroom near the "Slaughter Pen." She said the area made her feel very uneasy. Seems to be a lot of "ghost stories" around battlefields

Sorry, no disrespect intended, but I believe something medical happened to you, plain and simple. If you wish to believe in ghosts, that's certainly your right.

I've seen cameras go dead before, the batteries drained. I always carried a backup battery just in case. Ghosts can affect people in many ways, and some not good. I've encountered haunting at places not usually thought, or more unusual than normal. I've heard people talk about unusual encounters at Antietam before.
