165th Antietam

[9th US Regulars]

I'm watching for an Antietam event in 2027. I know it's a bit early yet, but I plan pretty far ahead. Is anyone tracking such a reenactment?

Homespun Ventures is putting on an event on the same property they held the Homespun Waterloo event for the 160th. I'd imagine the Liberty Rifles will probably be doing something again on the park grounds, nothing on their schedule that far out yet though.

There is a CS only preservation march on Sept 17-19th 2027. Cobb's (GA) Legion Infantry is the impression. "When Duty called we came." is the name of the event, they have a FB page.

Yeah it just seems like the quote unquote authentic side of the hobby has a grand total of maybe half a dozen impressions that they trot out every other event.

It's all just a cosplay contest anymore. Who has the stiffest hardee hat? Whose dead animals on their cap are cooler? What if we use…CHANDLER'S drill?? Ohhhhhh, sweet bro. See you at the hammy, planned, forced interaction with "refugees" scenario!
