We are lucky the grass that usually covers this hill top is thick and tall but there has been cattle on it since nov and have eaten down to the earth. We have tried going over this hill this summer but had not mutch luck we have dug around 200 bullets off of this hill in the last month dropped and wormed bullets. We are also finding alot of brass items.

They are trigger guards of some sort, but my only question is what rifle would they fit? They are pretty interesting looking. The weather is pretty messed up here @Duane Pringle, I hope it is better there. Thanks for posting these great little finds.

@Duane Pringle what are the measurements of the long one. The line around the edge is not typical of military muskets. Let me know and I'll see if we can find what type gun it came from.
