5th new hampshire knife

It depends on the knife and how good the history on it . be very careful they are easy to fake. A really good knife with very good provenance that is clearly proven might well be worth that much or more. On the other hand I have a crude old bowie that I found in an old building in Culpeper, Virginia. the building had been used as a jail during the war. When I offered to buy it, the lady who owned the building said, "that piece of junk? Take it." I often spot a lot of fakes "guaranteed" to be original. A photo and description would help.

Will bought the knife at auction, (Heritage) along with other pieces from the same officer. These were originally sold by Dave Taylor, who got them out of the family. Have no fear, Will also offers a lifetime guarantee, he had the forage cap and still has the sack coat. Shame they are being split up. He has it on Ebay for $850.......
