Trivia 5-9-18 ROTC

As a result of actions on the battlefield by The Battalion of State Cadets, The Citadel earned the right to post nine "institutional" battle streamers for "significant participation in a battle of historical importance." Only VMI (one "institutional" streamer), Florida State, William & Mary and Univ. of Hawaii Army ROTC units (each with one) have also been authorized that right. The national service academies post the battle streamers of their respective services, but none for "institutional" participation by the cadet corps.

Edit - The University of Hawaii's ROTC unit has been authorized to carry a battle streamer, but the streamer commemorates service during World War II, not the Civil War.

The streamers of four Southern
schools—Virginia Military Institute, Florida State
University, The Citadel, and the University of Mississippi—
are for Confederate service.

Extremely thin ice for me here, I'm not even sure if I understand the question correctly.
So I have to feel my way to the correct reply...

After a while I found out that there are 4 Army ROTC programs which have been granted that right:

"Based on the involvement of the students from the Florida Military and Collegiate Institute, the Florida State University Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program is one of only four Army ROTC programs to have a battle streamer for their actions in the Civil War"
https://www.dixiedefenders2086.com/fort-brooke

But which four??
By chance I found this:

"As a result of actions on the battlefield by The Battalion of State Cadets, The Citadel earned the right to post nine "institutional" battle streamers for "significant participation in a battle of historical importance." Only VMI (one "institutional" streamer), Florida State, William & Mary and Univ. of Hawaii Army ROTC units (each with one) have also been authorized that right."

So my answer is:
  1. Virginia Military Institute
  2. Florida State University
  3. William and Mary College, Williamsburg
  4. University of Hawaii
Edit - William and Mary and the University of Hawaii both have been authorized the right to post a battle streamer, but the former was authorized in commemoration of service during the American Revolution and the latter in commemoration of service during World War II, neither one for service during the Civil War.
