This photo shows the handsome Confederate General Micah Jenkins in his younger years. Jenkins was with General Longstreet when both were stuck by friendly fire in the Battle of the Wilderness. While Longstreet survived his ghastly wound, poor Micah Jenkins died a couple of days later.

Every site I go to identifies this individual as Micah Jenkins of the 5th South Carolina Infantry Regiment, although in my source they have this picture with 2 views and in one his hat clearly has a "5" on it - on the other - the "5" is reversed.
