Beauregard?

Edit - There is a fort named after Beauregard, but he wasn't a lawyer from Georgia and it's questionable whether Lee referred to him as "Rock."

In 1918 the U.S. Army established its infantry school at a camp located partly in Muscogee County and part in Chattahoochee County Georgia. At the request of the Columbus Rotary Club, the camp (and later fort) was named for Benning. http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/articles/government-politics/henry-l-benning-1814-1875
