Howdy Y'all.
New to the forums here but not to the gun world.
I usta' shoot with the CWSA (the left coast equivalent to the NSSA) up until a couple or 3 years ago and loved it. My rifle of choice was (is) my 1863 Wm Mason rifle-musket and Smith carbine--both originals. I also have an 1860 Colt and 1849 Colt that I inherited when my father passed back in '79.
Now for the question: does any one have an extra, or know where to get an original main spring for the '60 Colt? The original broke several years ago and the repop spring it currently has just doesn't "feel" right.
Thanks all.
Confederately Yours,

Welcome from THE Heart of Dixie. S&S is your best bet. Also, keep in mind any new spring repop or original is not going to feel the same as the old one.

Welcome to the forums from the host of the Stonewall Jackson Forum and another Colt enthusiast!
