Edit - 101combatvet has researched the question and determined that the 54th Massachusetts Infantry, 1st Kansas Colored Infantry, 1st South Carolina Infantry, and 1st and 3rd Louisiana Native Guards all have a claim to this honor. (See post # 26) Therefore, I am going to accept all of those answers as correct.
