2. I'm not sure whether this part of the question is asking for the date or what the participants in the discussion were doing while the discussion was going on. If it's asking for the date, it was July 13. If it's asking what they were doing, they were on a carriage ride.

Edit - Well, I can't get your first source to open for me, your second source indicates that the meeting with the border states representatives took place on the previous day, rather than the same day, and I can't find anything in the lengthy text of your third source that indicates when Lincoln received the "Harrison's Landing" letter.

However, as I indicated in my own post, I felt that the question could be interpreted as asking for the date of the meeting with the two Cabinet officers, and since you correctly stated that it took place on July 13, I am giving credit for a correct response.
