Rusty relics!!!

So I cleaned this hammer just about over a year ago maybe two. Then I coated it with gemplers rust converter some spots I see new crystal like rust coming thru what should I do? Thank you

What is going on is the iron (which is a porous metal) has moisture embedded with in. I always put iron that I have cleaned in the oven at a low heat around 250 for 4 hours to draw out any moisture before coating it.

That's what I did then let sit for 30 days

You don't let it sit you coat it very soon after it comes out of the oven. Did you do electrolysis?

No I don't I just wired wheeled this thing
