I have a large collection of relics from Gettysburg with Provence etc I am on the fence about running alot of the iron degraded relics thru electrolysis just wanted to gather some opinions if I should here are some Gettysburg bayonets I recently got from a dealer and I want to preserve them but would it be a collector crime? How fast would the rust continue to eat away

Over time they will turn to dust. You could just remove the rust and use Gimplers

Yea I see this but does it actually stop the internal rust like electrolysis would
