Just thought it would be fun to ask about everyone's favorite Zouave uniforms of the war. I'll go first: The 11th Indiana
They didn't keep the gray long (for obvious reasons), but I love the look, and honestly I like it better than their later blue uniforms.
Although they do still look pretty snazzy!
