Zarvona's Zouaves

Hello there. I've been looking into and researching the "Zarvona's Zouaves" recently for fun (otherwise mentioned as the Potomac Zouaves or Maryland Zouaves). Throughout this search I've had two main struggles:

First being what their actual uniform were. I've seen description of Zarvona's uniform along with another officer, but I've yet to find a picture or any information relating to what the enlisted would have ended up wearing. Especially by the time they ended up in the 47th VA and other groups, as I've already looked into other sources mentioning the scarceness of zouave uniforms fairly quickly into the war. I'll also mention that I've seen someone on here make a drawing of a Lieutenant uniform in another thread, yet I don't want to blindly trust it seeing as it had nothing with it to back it up.

Second is what the actual service of the companies' remnants ended up as after Zarvona's capture. I understand the first group were part of the 47th VA and 2nd AR, but I'm still confused as to the whereabouts of the group recruited after Zarvona's capture in the attempted recreation of the regiment later in 61'. I've seen a source or two claim they joined Nelligan's Lousiana, but haven't seen them mentioned as a company anywhere else worth proving it.

Any help would be of great use!

Evidently Zarvona himself had a "zouave" outfit to impress with... Some doubt, apparently, that the second company was ever formally organized and mustered as a group.

It would seem unlikely the Zarvona zouaves ever procured a complete or particular zouave dress in the Confederacy, or if they did that is lasted long. As early as September, 1861 the captain of Co. F of the 47th Virginia complained that cloth was unavailable for uniforms on the open market...

The Regimental history of the 47th Virginia states the Zarvona Zouaves of Company H, later transferred to the 2nd Arkansas Infantry battalion, appear to have in large part ended up in Company E, 2nd Maryland Battalion.
