Im hunting a union cavalry spot on the Gettysburg retreat. Its been pretty good so far. These are some of my recent recoveries.

Nice digs. The one thing that stands out is the Spencer's. The only Spencer's at Gburg were rifles. The carbines were not delivered until the fall of 63. So it may not be a retreat thing. But still some awesome finds.

Thanks. It's Gettysburg retreat for sure. Thing is this is where Buford was & I didn't know he was armed with them. I have a spot just over the hill where Kilpatrick was & he definitely had them. Yankee cavalry caught up to Lee's rear & must've pulled out all the stops trying to get them.
