William rains

Hello friends. I have been hoping to find what happened to William rains of the first Tennessee volunteer infantry company a union. I believe he died during the war. I looked in all my open source options before coming here. Can I get a helping hand please?

This could possibly be William's father's memorial. The son, William, mentioned here was born in 1845, which would make your William about 18 years old when he died.
