Hello friends! I bought my first ever civil war paper documents and I wanted to share with you and maybe get someone with fold 3 to tell me their fate if you're feeling charitable.

First is 8th Michigan volunteer soldier William carr who received a disability discharge in Beaufort sc in February 1862. It also says signed by order of Thomas Sherman which is neat.

The other is for a bounty for a William rains that died and was claimed by his father eli rains it looks like he enlisted 7/22 1861
