The museum is very interesting, and fun for all ages. It includes much more than just McKinley-related exhibits and artifacts. We took our grandkids (ages 5, 7 and 9), and they had a great time, especially with interactive exhibits.

I went there on my recent vacation. I was disappointed how little of the museum was about McKinley - just one big room with some slightly dated animatronics. Plus a short video. All very focused on McKinley as president. (The McKinley Tariff was during his time in Congress, and was also governor of Ohio.)
The museum is operated by the county historical society and so about a third of the museum is a typical local history museum for Canton & Stark County, a third is a recreated historic downtown with a variety of period businesses, and a third is a natural history museum & science center. The museum is undoubtedly designed with field trips in mind, and leans towards the kids especially the nature/science part.
