As someone who lives in Europe, I'm strangely fascinated by the American Civil War / War Between the States.

I have in my collection:
1939 - GONE WITH THE WIND
1959 - THE HORSE SOLDIERS
1966 - THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY
1982 - THE BLUE & THE GRAY
1985 - NORTH AND SOUTH
1991 - IRONCLADS
1993 - GETTYSBURG
1999 - RIDE WITH THE DEVIL
1999 - THE HUNLEY
2003 - GODS AND GENERALS
2012 - LINCOLN
2014 - FIELD OF LOST SHOES
2015 - POINT OF HONOR

I also saw these and didn't like them:
1915 - THE BIRTH OF A NATION
1965 - SHENANDOAH
2002 - WICKED SPRING

Are there any other really good films or TV shows depicting the Civil War? (I know about GLORY, I have yet to watch it.)
Thanks

Liked? GOOD BAD UGLY is among the 10 best films in history, I love it
I have in my collection THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES, excellent film, but not much Civil War in it, right? I've just seen a moment ago here a topic where THE RED BADGE is mentioned... if it's really good, I'll be sure to watch it, thanks.

The Outlaw Josey Wales,
Alvarez Kelly,
Glory,
How The West Was Won

Thanks Jimklag, I have How The West Was Won too, it's simple, but ok. Never heard of Alvarez Kelly before, I'll search for it right away!

Howdy and welcome. You must definitely add GLORY to your collection. You have lots of other good ones! Welcome from Missouri. You know all those locales you've seen in RIDE WITH THE DEVIL? They were filmed within a couple of counties from where I now sit and write to you!

Hello and welcome from Southeast Missouri. I see some small ones missing. The Colt, about a cavalry horse colt; the original The Beguiled Clint Eastwood; The newer Beguiled Colin Ferrell; Cold Mountain has it's moments; Johnny Shiloh, Disney, ok really; The Conspirator James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Mary Surratt trial; There are several others, I can't remember the titles of. Recent movies, Scott Eastwood is in one.

Thanks guys :)
Although the pilot for POINT OF HONOR got mostly very negative reviews, I liked it and I was hoping it would develop into a show. I've read earlier this year about FREE STATE OF JONES... I don't know what to think of it... we'll see.

I really liked....

SO RED THE ROSE is King Vidor's quietly affecting Civil War romance, starring Margaret Sullavan as a Southern aristocrat, the mistress of a Southern plantation, whose sheltered life is torn apart by the War between the States. During the war's darkest days she is sustained by her love for a distant cousin, a Confederate officer, played by Randolph Scott.

King Vidor was cool.
