It's way too early in the morning to be this alert. What did you put in your coffee?

My thought was that he'd put an adult beverage in his canteen and now couldn't find said canteen because he'd already drank it dry. Doesn't he look a little hungover to you?

PS: The glasses don't look quite right to me. Tinted or Transitions lenses? But I could be wrong because I'm not fully awake.

Actually, I am renowned for the strength of my java! I used to say "I'm not a detail person" then my wife responded "You zoom in on photographs and can determine a unit by the buttons. That's not exactly 'big picture' behavior."

Wasn't that more or less what Lee said at Appomattox when his staff suggested that he just let the army dissolve and go bushwhacking? I'm sure he said it with a lot more class, though.

The beard is misleading, especially in b/w. His face and hands aren't very wrinkled. I don't think he's that old. I'm pretty sure I have several years, if not decades on him.

Well he is wearing all grey so he must be reenacting the CSA. So that's why the CSA lost the ACW!
