Okay, I will be interested in everyone's thinking about this one. Even I had trouble finding it.

What do you see, and where would you find it? Good luck! Answer on Saturday!

So, Saturday is come and gone. What's the answer to this most difficult "Where Is It" of all time?
Thanks for asking! 😁

Congrats to @ronzzo, who got the correct answer, and @reading48, who was not far behind! This is located next to the 111NY at the Bryan barn. There are several areas of flat rocks there, but this CEH is scratched into a patch of rough concrete that was part of the monument erection process. The guess is either that someone with those initials either was part of the 111NY, and scratched them into the concrete perhaps at the 1913 reunion, or that it was in memory of someone who fought in the 111th. This was part of a scavenger hunt that I participated in last year at this time with Randy Drais and about 15 other Gettysburg "nuts," and it was the only thing out of the 20 that I couldn't find without help.

As always, thanks for playing, everyone! See you on Wednesday for the next battlefield mystery spot!

Pam

Well that won't be a tough one to get to. That's a must visit spot for me if my avatar is any indication. I guess I'll have to look down this time and not just at the monument, buildings, and the field.
