Could that be the old hitching post that was cut down a few years back..On East Confederate Ave..It led to a path where it was thought to be a mass Confederate grave?????

Is it the wall along the south side of the Wheatfield, at or near the 17th Maine's line?

My best guess is the rock wall do East of the AL Coble Rock carving. If you look east across East Confederate Avenue from the Coble rock carving there is a rock wall that butts up against trees. Could be the rock wall that the rebels used to hit the Indiana and Mass boys on their ill fated charge.
