What would this be worth if it wasn't a SCAM

Saw this Fluted Colt 1860 army revolver on a UK website recently. It is serial number 926 (so 1860 manufacture) and condition is described as very good. It looks superb and priced at £900 (sterling), too good to be true. The seller won't meet, all alarm bells are ringing. Won't send photo with todays date next to it or todays newspaper etc. As they say "if it looks too good to be true it probably is". I would love a 3 digit 1860 Colt army but guess I'm going to have to dig deep, especially here in the UK. Does anyone recognise the serial number?

This revolver was posted on the Colt forum back in 2016, click on the link, then click on the photo,,same serial #926. It does appear to have been "used" and/or disassembled by looking at the orientation on the screw slots. Plus it looked much cleaner in 2016. I know it's not much help, and the op on the colt forum hasn't been active since 2017.

Great another scam to worry about and how they go about it. What's the UK website address? What he want a check, Western Union, Bitcoin as payment? Good thing about Credit Cards you can always get your $ back (mostly).
