I saw this Rube Goldberg monstrosity on a weird news forum today.

On that basis, not even sure if it is a real weapon or a joke.

If it is real, any idea of the maker?

I can believe that it's a genuine invention, because there is no limit to the kinds of things inventors will attempt. I'm just sitting here pondering what a chain fire on that thing would be like!

City fighting is about the only useful application I can see for it.

Unfortunately my request to apply for a grant (and not the grant itself) for funds for a high speed camera to explore chain fires/sympathetic fire was turned down by the college.
