Thank you, Sir.The top photo includes cavalry and artillery officer should boards, an enlisted man´s hat cord that I believe also to be artillery colors, Marine corps shako plates and a belt buckle and bullet I don´t recognize. The second is a grouping of Federal belt plates (the oval ones) and cartridge box plates (the round ones) with an assortment of fired and unfired bullets. The bottom is a group of artillery shells without the fuses. I´m not up on values, but that´s a quick look see of what you have.
that's $200-500 plus each! For the cannonballs measure the diameter and then go to www.CivilWarArtillery.com
He has a great site that will tell you what they are. At a glance I'd value from $200 to $500 plus. More if you can prove where they were dug from.
Could you post the back of the Georgia tongue. Also, The back of the US plates to see if they are cartridge box plates or belt plates. The cannon balls are 12lb and a few are Confederate. The bullets in the yellow circle appear to be Whitworth bullets and are rare.Anyone know what this stuff is and the value? NOt interested in selling.View attachment 492450View attachment 492451View attachment 492452
You are not joking. That is pretty much what I have my Desktop Puter and Printer sitting on, only not as wide. The rack that the cannon balls are sitting on looks a bit light duty to carry that weight!
@ramkuma nice collection. Any chance the items have known backgrounds or where they were found, originated fr
I don't unfortunately. One of the great problems in relics is no one georeferences anything, so half the history is lost.@ramkuma nice collection. Any chance the items have known backgrounds or where they were found, originated from?

The cavalry boards are no good. Artillery is good.
