Top looks like either 6lb or 12lb borman fused shell frag.

Dug 6lber the fuse end and appears to be a boreman. The spur piece is definitely not US issue.

I'm guessing and I admit it, but I'm going with a shell frag, per post #6.
Coming back a day later to edit. I just realized the question was about the bottom photo. (Slaps forehead,) Yes, the bottom photo looks like something associated with straps--maybe a spur.

You can see this frag has some brass sabot in it like the pieces we found last fall in the same field laying next to frag.
