I got a message yesterday about where I get my trivia questions from. Well, I won't tell you where I get specific questions from, I will say that some come from books in my personal library, a few of which I'll list in a moment, and some come from the internet. Here are a few samples of my favorite books for trivia questions & answers:
The Civil War Dictionary by Mark M. Boatner III
Civil War Curiosities by Webb Garrison
The Complete Book of Confederate Trivia by Stephen Lang
Civil War Quiz and Fact Book by Rod Gragg
The Civil War Book of Lists by Donald Cartmell
Civil War Trivia & Fact Book by Webb Garrison
Admittedly, none of these books get every fact straight, and I've learned what kind of questions are safer to ask and which ones to stay away from. However, sometimes the answer I have is all wrong, and all of you usually correct me on it when that happens.
Yesterday's Question: In what Tennessee town did residents guide Nathan Bedford Forrest toward the Union hideout by silently waving their handkerchiefs? Trenton, TN
Here is Today's Question, Worth One Point:
What crippled general died within 24 hours after his wife's funeral?
Expect the next trivia question to be posted tomorrow at about
7AM EDT. Please post your answers to this question before that time. Thank you!
