Warman's Civil War Weapons by Graham Smith. I picked this up today at a gun show where I was hunting for a little child's .22 to get my daughter started. After drooling on an original M1841 I saw it for $15 and took a quick peek... as $15 was a bit coser to my budget than the $2400 on the M1841 I made an easy decision.

This is an absolute must own for those interested in the arms of the Civil War. It is a concise and thouroghly illustrated work w/ color photographs of surviving examples. While many of the entries are not as detailed or as well illustrated as I might like with numerous minor but glaring errors and no index this is still a nice handy reference guide that will likely sit beside my copy of Edwards Civil War Guns & Reillly's US Military Small Arms 1816-1865.
