Wade House

No, but I surely wish I were. Being from Wisconsin I suppose you've been there many times. I saw it for the first time this summer and recommend it HIGHLY to travelers. The old inn is interesting with its private and public rooms; the blacksmith shop was fascinating; and the sawmill was fascinating too even though the drought lowered the pond level so much that the mill wasn't waterpowered on Sawmill Days. I hope the weather is pleasant for whoever gets there. Please give a report after this weekend!

WE're doing a LIving History for 1000 odd school kids; though you might well see our 1st & possibly 2nd Sgt (who is also a member of the 2nd WI VI). A wonderful event that I've never been able to attend. Enjoy.

Yes, I'm from Wisconsin; but I've recently returned to the state after 38 years. This will be my first visit there. Should be a grand week-end.
