Visiting Perryville - Advice?

Thanks to the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, I shall find myself visiting the Perryville battlefield for a few afternoon hours later this month. I have never been to this site and would appreciate any useful information from those in the know.

An early welcome to the Bluegrass.

Perryville is pretty straightforward. Visitor center is a must. Watch the film and see the museum. They will provide a walking trail map- focuses pretty heavily on Maney's advance. I would follow up with the driving tour to catch the other significant locations.

Superintendent is Bryan Bush. If not behind the desk- I would ask for him.
