Vicksburg visit

On a road trip now and may be able to stop at Vicksburg for a couple of hours tomorrow morning. The NPS website shows a lot of road closures. I know there was some Visitor Center work being done.
Is it worth stopping tomorrow? Is the Visitor Center, the Cairo and enough of the battlefield road open? Thanks for any and all advice.

Its well worth a stop and the visitors center is not really all that much but the drive thru the battlefield is open. You will need more than a few hours. Hope you enjoy the park. The Courthouse museum and the Vicksburg museum are will worth a visit as well.
