Virginia Scenes -

Does someone have pictures of the Shenandoah River? I know I have several of both the north and south forks. I just can't find where I put them. I have found my project for next winter - cataloging all my digital photos and storing them all in one place.

That's my theory - when all else fails, blame the wife.

Yeah, it can come in handy sometimes. In this situation, though, it's true. She's a for-real photographer and since I didn't want to tote a camera (in a addition to all her stuff) and she'd be shooting anyway we just agreed that she'd take any photos I particularly wanted in a addition to what she'd take anyway (we visited some family 'shrines' and I wanted photos to just document some things that weren't otherwise so photogenic; also some battlefield shots she probably wouldn't have taken). So all our photos are on her computer.

She often gets too many irons in the fire and now she's on to other projects and has just not completed her processing. I have to be careful when I remind her as she gets all defensive and feels like I'm pestering her (even though our visit was eight months ago). So after looking at your photos I took a chance and said maybe she could just give me what she's done - processed or not - and I can sort through them. That way I'd at least have some photos. We'll see.

I hear ya... guess who has all mine?

It not forbidden, however we are always needing new content to promote. If all the photos are in one thread, then that kind of hinders the promotion.
Gotcha. I actually kinda like that idea. Everyone has his own photo album. I still wouldn't mind a bit if someone wants to post a pic or two on my thread.

I thought I would throw in a few photos of the National Air &Space Museum Udvar-Hazy center in Chantilly, VA
